I didn't finish this , so I'm making up my own ending to :

The dame from out of town gets bitten by a magic spider and becomes the spider queen, who later evolves into Arachne, the Bride of Chaotica from that one Star Trek Voyager episode where they're trapped in a Flash Gordon-esque holodeck program.

Shatner's character is almost eaten by spiders but lassos a pegasus and escapes, then makes a pass at the pegasus (on the moon of course) and is turned down.

I mean we didn't really see enough of spider society to say they are a Monarchy, they could be a pretend Democracy, some kind of cooperative, a Jazzocracy, anything.
