The #monsterdon tag isn’t just about monster movies. It really refers to “Monster” Don Mastodon, brother of John, who was infamous for flying into rages that would leave most of the household glassware destroyed. The only thing that could quell his fury was to sit him down in front of a cheesy B-grade horror flick on TV. He always rooted for the monster, hence the moniker.

We celebrate him every Sunday at 9, but instead of breaking glasses, we drink from them. Tonight’s celebration is with Godzilla Vs. Megalon, one of the cheesiest, B-grade-iest of the Shōwa-era originals.
